Semana Santa (Holy Week) is typically a time of grand religious processions in Andalusia, Spain complete with bands, candles, incense, religious robes and massive crowds.
When I filmed this in 2021, due to Covid-19, these processions were canceled. Luckily for us, the religious statues and litters were all displayed in the local churches.
In this video I take you for a tour of these churches in Huelva to see all of the elaborately decorated figures and floats, gilded with gold and adorned in colorful costumes.
